Envirmental CostsWorld Water CrisesOil and Water|North Pacific Garbage PatchWe live on a great planet that is covered with mostly water. Actually 70% of our planet is water. But unfortunately only 3% of that water is considered “drinkable.” Researchers estimate that with in 30 years finding clean drinking water will be an everyday struggle no matter where you are on earth. Wars of the future could very possibly be over water. In many underdeveloped countries today many people are dying and getting sick due to water born diseases. Half of everyone who is sick right now is sick due to some type of water born disease or sanitation issue. This will only get worse as our access to clean drinking water becomes more scarce. Please take water seriously and do not waste it. It is a valuable resource that might not be around for two much longer. |
